How it works
The Pounce Venous Thrombectomy System’s dual-action technology includes an adjustable basket that is designed to maintain constant wall-to-wall contact as it efficiently engages and collects wall-adherent clot. The basket feeds the thrombus into the system’s extraction screw, which macerates and removes the material from the body.

Indications for Use
The device is indicated for mechanical de-clotting and controlled and selective infusion of physician specified fluids, including thrombolytics, in the peripheral vasculature.
Contraindications
Pounce™ Venous Thrombectomy System is contraindicated in the following:
• Patients contraindicated for endovascular procedures
• Patients who cannot tolerate contrast media
• Patients in whom the lesion cannot be accessed with the guidewire
• Veins less than 6 mm diameter
